Spring Break Woodworking Series

Open to ages 5-15, students will learn about art, design, and engineering by building wooden projects using only raw materials, hand tools, and imagination. Our classroom(s) all have individual adjustable workbenches equipped with everything needed to create a multitude of woodworking projects. Professional teaching artists will guide students in creative problem-solving and using tools safely, effectively, and confidently on their own.

When: Monday - Friday (4/7, 4/8, 4/9, 4/10, 4/11)

Join Side Street Project’s FREE Youth Woodworking Class!! 

Open to ages 5-15, students will learn about art, design, and engineering by building wooden projects using only raw materials, hand tools, and imagination. Our classroom(s) all have individual adjustable workbenches equipped with everything needed to create a multitude of woodworking projects. Build Over Buy: ‘Tis the Season to Create

Join Side Street Projects for a one-day hands-on woodworking holiday experience that promotes creativity, sustainability, and community. 

In this class (ages 14+, including adults), you will choose from a multitude of woodworking templates, such as picture frames, boxes, animals, toys, and more. Learn woodworking techniques such as sanding, sawing, shaping, drilling, setting screws, using clamps, hammering, and incising, using only hand-tools.  Build a treasure to gift for a special someone this season or keep it for yourself ;). 

Held in our mobile woodworking classroom, our adjustable workbenches have everything to boost your building skills and get your creative juices flowing. 

Space is limited—register now! Share with your friends, family, and neighbors to build something unique and support the creative arts in your community!

Fall Youth Woodworking Series

(Ages 5-15) Students will learn about art, design, and engineering by building wooden projects using only raw materials, hand tools, and imagination. Each classroom has individual adjustable workbenches equipped with everything needed to create a multitude of woodworking projects. Professional Teaching Artists will guide students in creative problem-solving and how to use tools safely, effectively, and confidently on their own. 

Registration is first come, first serve.

Tuesday’s (total of 7 classes)

3:30pm - 5:30pm

December 5, 12

All classes are held at Side Street Projects Headquarters. Watch our wayfinding video for directions.

PLEASE REGISTER AND FILL OUT ONE FORM PER STUDENT. Attempting to register multiple quantities of children with one form will cause an error in our system and may cause them to lose their line placement. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Side Street Projects at (626) 798-7774.
