"Crafting Connections" Opening Exhibition by Artist Ginko Lee, April 12th | 2 pm - 4:30 pm
Artist Ginko Lee’s residency, Crafting Connections, enters its second phase with a two-week solo exhibition at Remainders Creative Reuse Gallery 787, a cornerstone of Pasadena’s upcycling and creative community. The project centers around the importance of sustainability and reuse in contemporary art through the lens of collaboration and community. Ginko’s exhibition will showcase a vibrant mix of upcycled patchwork pieces, home goods, and an interactive component using a one-of-a-kind tricycle-driven pom-pom machine, designed by Ginko and her partner, Scoop! Additionally, Kiki Joel, the store manager of Remainders will participate with their own Pom-Pom.
If you are an advocate for sustainable living or are curious about how upcycled materials can be transformed into art, join us on Saturday, April 12th from 2 pm - 4:30 pm at Remainders Creative Reuse Gallery 787. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own fabric or yarn to add to the Pom Pom Ginko and Scoop have started. The interactive component will only be available on the exhibition's opening day. The exhibition will run from April 12th through April 26th.
Stay tuned for more on Ginko’s developing project.
