Join us in celebrating our neighbor Harambee’s 40th anniversary on Saturday, August 27th from 11 AM - 3 PM at Harambee Ministries block party! In collaboration with artist Alan Nakagawa, we will provide zines about his artist residency focusing on archiving history at the Pasadena Buddhist Temple, in hopes of encouraging anyone to document their community/family stories. We will also have an art activity for community members to help paint the new Black Lives Matter and Pride banners for the Temple.
