Top Soil To Tree Canopy

In “Top Soil To Tree Canopy”, participants learned how to produce healthy soil and how to care for fruit trees at Akwaaba! Akwaaba is a backyard, food forest garden demonstration site in Pasadena. Teaching Artists Abudu Nininger & Lila Louise Chu guided participants through the ways of composting and pruning techniques to tend to an array of mature trees and vines. Folks connected with a local garden, fed the soil, and listened to the plants.
