May Jong: My Pasadena Interactive Guidebook

The Interactive Field Guide to “My Pasadena'' invited the public to explore the city through its public art. The field guides became unique works of art filled with participants' drawings, thoughts, and observations as each individual experienced Pasadena and art in new ways. No two field guides were the same. Artist’s books were able to be part of the history of the City of Pasadena and be archived by Side Street Projects (SSP). People were allowed to bring the book to SSP Mobile Headquarters (and various “My Pasadena '' mobile outpost locations), scan and photograph pages, or donate their entire book to the archive for future generations.
