Rewriting Our Stories is a workshop series that aims to create a space for intergenerational artists to have an opportunity to heal from narratives about our lives that no longer serve us. To be able to rewrite these narratives and create new ones that allow for growth in the directions we wish to go, incorporating creative processes of zine making which allows artists the ability to understand publication design and production.
In this course facilitated by artist Benin Marshall, participants will learn what a zine is, how to make one, go through creative prompts, and share their work.
All ages are welcome!
Day TWO takes place on Saturday, October 15th!
