Phantom Ball: 23 Years of Side Street Projects’ Print Editions

Curatorial Assistance exhibited 23 years of Side Street Projects print editions. Founded in 1992 Side Street Projects has been an incubator, support service, and network for artists working in LA. This retrospective included benefit print editions by 26 artists embedded in the story of Side Street Projects’ 23 years as an artist-run organization. Artists included Cathy Opie, Edgar Arceneaux, and John Outterbridge. These print editions helped Side Street Projects sustain a mobile woodworking program, project space, equipment coop, artist projects, and artist support services for over two decades. Side Street Projects also debuted a tapestry edition of its Alexandra Grant print with Woven Accents. The exhibition ran from March 11th – May 15th during regular gallery hours.
